“Inside Government with Guy Cosentino” to Host Candidates for the 126th NY Assembly District

The 126th NY Assembly District candidates will feature in the final candidate forum leading up to election day. The candidate forums are co-sponsored by Cayuga Community College and The Citizen. 

Questions will be asked by Citizen Executive Editor Jeremy Boyer. Guy Cosentino will moderate the forums. 

The shows are recorded in the Cayuga Community College Television Studio by the students in the Telcom/Media Department

Tuesday, October 27 – the 126th Assembly Forum with Dia Carbajal (D and WFP) facing John Lemondes (R, C & Ind. Party) to fill the seat being vacated by the retirement of Assemblyman Gary D. Finch.

Thursday, October 29 – “Inside Government with Guy Cosentino” will feature Assemblyman Gary D. Finch, who announced earlier this year that he was retiring from the New York Assembly this December at the start of a new Legislative Session. He will be asked about his career in public service, the State’s response to the COVID 19 situation and other matters before the Legislature.

The shows can be viewed on the Media/Telcom Dept's YouTube channel (Media@Cayuga) as a live stream Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:30pm. The shows are archived on YouTube and can also be accessed any time after the live stream is finished. The shows are broadcast on Spectrum Cable channel 12 on Tuesday and Thursday nights starting at 7 p.m.

In addition to being a candidate for the New York State Assembly, Dia Carabajal is a Professor of Mathematics at Cayuga Community College.
