Owasco Town Supervisor Ed Wagner Endorses Dia Carabajal For New York State Assembly

Auburn, NY - Dia Carabajal, Democratic Nominee for New York State Assembly in the 126th district announced that her campaign is endorsed by Ed Wagner, Republican supervisor of the Town of Owasco.
“I’m proud to endorse Dia Carabajal.” Wagner said. “Dia is willing to work across the aisle to get things done. She has proven herself to be an independent voice and champion for Cayuga County. Dia has made protecting the Owasco Lake Watershed a priority. I know she’s the person who will best represent us in Albany.”
Wagner, a Republican, has been securing millions of dollars from grants or interest free loans to pay for the Owasco water plant. This investment protects drinking water from HAB’s to the residents of Owasco, Fleming and Niles.
“In today’s hyper-partisan society, Ed Wagner has prioritized protecting our community over all else. He is a champion for the Finger Lakes and a proven leader. ” said Dia Carabajal. “He has proven that he’s willing to cross party lines to protect our lakes. I am honored to have his support, and I look forward to working with him going forward.”
Dia Carabajal is also endorsed by U.S. Senators Bernie Sanders (VT,) Charles Schumer (NY) and Kirsten Gillibrand (NY), as well as NYS Comptroller Tom DiNapoli. In addition, Carabajal is endorsed by numerous unions, organizations and residents of Cayuga, Chenango, Cortland and Onondaga Counties.
